Jenkins Hall and Nanovic Hall

The September issue of NDWorks features a four-page update on campus construction as several new or renovated facilities open their doors to faculty, staff and students.

“Through the support of many generous benefactors, the University is completing eight facilities with a total of 1.4 million square feet of research, classroom, residence and student life space,” writes Marissa Gebhard, program director of communications for the Executive Vice President. “Because of detailed planning and design in collaboration with leaders across campus, Notre Dame faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduate students will be able to teach, research and collaborate more effectively than ever before.”

The construction update primarily focuses on Duncan Student Center, O’Neill Hall and Corbett Family Hall, the the new buildings surrounding Notre Dame Stadium, and Jenkins Hall and Nanovic Hall, located on Notre Dame Avenue near the Main Gate.

Additional content outlines the move-in timeline for departments occupying the new buildings and recent updates at Hesburgh Library, Quinn Family Hall, the North Dining Hall and Walsh Hall.

The 24-page issue also includes a special section on key happenings in the Auxiliary Operations division as well as a schedule of RecSports classes and information on how VenueND can help faculty and staff book meetings, events and conferences on campus.
