A $500,000 fund has been established at the University of Notre Dame by William R. and Janie Kelly of Southern Pines, N.C., for an undergraduate scholarship in honor of James V. Gibbons, assistant vice president of University relations. The Kellys have made an additional gift to the University of a $1.5 million individual retirement account to fund a scholarship named after their family.p.
