April Lower, a culinary apprentice in Food Services at the University of Notre Dame, has been named Junior Chef of the Year 2000 by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) South Bend Professional Chefs and Cooks Association. Lower also has been nominated for the ACF Central Region Junior Chef of the Year award, which will be announced in April.p.
