p. Nathan O. Hatch has been elected to a second five-year term as provost of the University of Notre Dame. Hatch’s reappointment by the University’s Board of Trustees came after the Trustees had reviewed recommendations from Rev. Edward A. Malloy, C.S.C., the University’s president, and an elected faculty committee which had conducted a formal review of the provost’s performance. The five-year review is called for in the academic articles of the University.p.
