Notre Dame mourns death of Law School student

Mosupatsela Kar V. Moleah, a third-year student at the University of Notre Dame Law School, died early Friday (April 1) in Philadelphia. He was 26.

“My prayers and the prayers of the Notre Dame community are with Kar’s family and friends,” the University’s president, Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., said. “They have our deepest condolences during this tragic time.”

Most recently a resident of Philadelphia, Moleah was studying in the Washington, D.C., program this semester.

The University Counseling Center and Campus Ministry are available to offer support to members of the Notre Dame community.

A service in Moleah’s memory will be held on Tuesday, April 5 at 5:15 p.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. University president Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., will preside and Notre Dame Lecturer in Law Rev. Bill Dailey, C.S.C., will be the homilist. All are welcome to attend.
