The University of Notre Dame has received a gift of $500,000 from Charles B. Kitz, vice president for environmental and energy planning at DaimlerChrysler Corporation, and Elizabeth M. Kitz. The gift will support a wide variety of projects, including the installation of a sculpture of Blessed Brother Andr? Bessette, C.S.C., in the University’s new Eck Center, building renovations, library acquisitions, and a service learning program.p.
