Chemist receives prestigious national scholarship

Olaf G. Wiest, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame, has been named a 2001 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar by the Camille&Henry Dreyfus Foundation. The program, which provides 15 awards of $60,000 each, is designed to strengthen the teaching and research careers of talented young faculty in the chemical sciences.p.
