Ryan Roeder’s research interests broadly span biomaterials, including nanoparticles for targeted contrast agents and drug delivery, and scaffolds for regenerating tissues, as well biomechanics, including the mechanobiology and micromechanics of musculoskeletal tissues. Dr. Roeder’s research has been supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC), the Congressionally-Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), as well as a number of private foundations and corporations.
