The second annual Saturday Scholar Series at the University of Notre Dame will feature six lectures by leading faculty members on each home football weekend this fall.p. The lectures are sponsored by the College of Arts and Letters and will begin three and one-half hours before kickoff in the Hesburgh Center auditorium. Mark A. Roche, I.A. O’Shaughnessy Dean of Arts and Letters, initiated the program last fall to add a scholarly dimension to a weekend events roster of athletics, pageantry and fine arts performances.p.
