Humanities Endowment Awards $9.7-Million

The National Endowment for the Humanities announced Thursday that it was awarding more than $9.7-million in grants and fellowships to 172 scholars and 14 colleges and universities.p. The awards range from $9,920 to $500,000. Approximately $7.5-million was awarded to other institutions, including libraries, museums, and historical societies.p.
