The University of Notre Dame will be the first stop in a 1,000-mile bicycle ride to raise money and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.p. Lee Polisano, a 1991 Notre Dame graduate, will be among the participants in the “Merc to Merc Big Ride” from Chicago to New York. The cyclists will leave Chicago early Friday (Aug. 18) and arrive at Notre Dame that afternoon. They will leave the University the following morning and expect to arrive in New York Aug. 31.p.
