One-way traffic pattern for football to begin an hour earlier

In anticipation of a large and early-arriving crowd for Saturdays Notre Dame-USC football game, state and county police officials will start a one-way traffic pattern for streets north and east of the campus at 10 a.m., an hour earlier than usual.p. The measure, which will continue through the remainder of the season, is expected to help prevent traffic back-ups on the Indiana Toll Road.p. South Bend police will continue to implement a one-way pattern for streets south of the campus 3½ hours prior to kickoff – at 11 a.m. this Saturday.p.
