Leon Glon has been promoted to sexton of Cedar Grove Cemetery on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. He served as assistant sexton for the past 12 years.p. A native of New Carlisle, Ind., Glon previously worked for seven years at St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend. He holds an associate’s degree in general studies from Indiana University, South Bend.p. Glon’s appointment was effective Jan. 1.p. Cedar Grove Cemetery is located on the south side of campus, immediately to the west of Notre Dame Avenue.
