Walther scientist receives American Cancer Society award

Edward R. Hinchcliffe, a biologist in the University of Notre Dame’s Walther Cancer Center, has received a four-year, $700,000 Research Scholar Award from the American Cancer Society (ACS). His grant proposal, titled “Centrosomes and Cell Cycle Progression,” was ranked first out of 44 submitted to the ACS Cell Cycle and Growth Control Committee.p.
