Meredith Gill, assistant professor of art at the University of Notre Dame and a specialist in Italian Renaissance art, will discuss ?Art and the Religious Imagination? at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 23) in the Hesburgh Center auditorium on campus. Her presentation is the final Saturday Scholar lecture of the football season.p. Gill’s lecture will examine the relationship between art and the divine. She will take up two questions: What can a work of art tell us about theological truth, and what can it reveal to us about the meaning of the lives of holy people?p.
