The University of Notre Dame has received a $930,205 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. for a project titled ?Sustaining Pastoral Excellence in Episcopal Ministry,? to be conducted by the University’s Institute for Church Life.p. Designed to serve Catholic bishops across the United States, the project will consist of a series of consultations, conferences, seminars and retreats to facilitate bishops’ efforts to sustain excellence in their ministries by providing opportunities for spiritual nurture, intellectual growth and encouragement of the pastoral imagination and energy.p.
