Raimo Väyrynen, John M. Regan, Jr., Director of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, will step down from the directorship at the end of his five-year term in August 1998. Väyrynen will return to the Notre Dame faculty as professor of government and international studies and will continue as a senior fellow in the Kroc Institute.p.
