Representatives from the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Eeducation (ACE) joined Speaker of the House John Boehner at the State of the Union address. Boehner symbolized his push for school choice by inviting a number of students and teachers to be present. The teachers included Jack Kelly, a first-year ACE teacher earning his master’s degree through ACE Service through Teaching, and Mike Thomasian, a graduate of ACE’s Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program.
