An expert in complex civil litigation and civil procedure,Tidmarsh practiced as a trial attorney in the Torts Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, handling aspects of the Agent Orange and Love Canal litigations along with other matters involving environmental torts, professional malpractice and other injuries caused by governmental contractors. He is the author or co-author of six books, including casebooks in the fields of civil procedure and complex litigation, as well as numerous law review articles.
