A member of the Notre Dame faculty since 2003, Waller has served as a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, the Federal Reserve Bank Cleveland, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the Economics Education and Research Consortium. His research has been published in several top economic journals including American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, International Economic Review, and Journal of Monetary Economics. He is currently on leave at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis where he serves as Research Director and Senior Vice President.
